Thanks Ignore what the other guy says, you can obtain the software through a rep or such most of the time if you meet the right person. A dealer won't, but there are other methods. One thing is since you have a local dealer and I do NOT have anyone within 3-4 hours away, most likely you will need to get one of them. Also, I would be shocked they would not offer their service since you are in their area as that is turning down money.

If the remotes are really old though, they may no longer be of good use. However, most are still supported so I can't see that being a problem. The other issue, you really do need to know some computer programming or be very good at things like that yourself. For me, I have a background in Computer Science so things like this I can do in my sleep (programming remote, macros, etc.).
